Open API

Query parts, parameters, document listings and marking codes over HTTP. Responses are JSON. The API is available to enterprise customers and requires an API key.

Create an API key

Enterprise customers only

API keys are issued to enterprise customers only, and each key has a daily call quota. The API returns part metadata only (parameters, document titles, page counts and dates), with no PDF files or viewer links.

Request an enterprise account

Authentication

Send your key in a header: Authorization: Bearer <key>, or X-API-Key: <key>.

Rate limits

The open API is for enterprise accounts: 5,000 calls per account per day by default (all keys combined; each key also has its own cap), at most 20 per second, and up to 3 active keys. The X-RateLimit-Remaining header shows what is left today; over the limit you get 429. Contact us for a higher quota.

Documents come with metadata only (title, type, pages, publication date), no file or viewer links. Read datasheets on the part page, where the usual site limits apply.

Errors
